Bath painting

This phase is mainly carried out with the production in white earthenware, even already decorated.
The objects are covered by a vitreous (crystalline) based varnish which, during the second firing phase, gives the shiny appearance that we all know.
The application of the crystalline, which is in the liquid state, takes place by immersion, also called plunging, to guarantee a uniform thickness coverage.
