First cooking
After finishing, the objects are left to dry at room temperature for a few days, and once they have lost most of the water contained in the mixture, they are ready to be placed in the oven: each object is conveniently placed in the loading plans for avoid breakage or deformation during cooking.
The cooking cycle, until reaching the maximum temperature of 1000 ° C, lasts about 24 hours.
The objects that have undergone this first cooking are called biscuits, and they already get a good consistency, but the material still maintains a high porosity and therefore lends itself to being decorated or glazed.
